The Department of Health and Families has issued a consultation paper seeking to provide background information to service providers and interested community members on the development of new secure care and professional support services for young people and adults with high risk behaviours. Child Protection Inquiry

Reporting Child Abuse
In the Northern Territory any person who believes that a child is being, or has been, abused or neglected is required by law to report their concerns.

Reporting Harm and Sexual Offences Involving Children

Domestic & Family Violence
Domestic and Family Violence encompasses all forms of violence between intimate partners (who are married or unmarried, in de facto relationships, boyfriends, girlfriends, gay or straight) and violence between other members of a family, household or community.

Working with Children Checks
The Care and Protection of Children Act 2007 provides the legislative basis for Working with Children Checks in the NT.
